Both carry TÜV and SGS 20ft drop certification and use DNA Guard™ Technology, but the 2S prioritises ruggedness while the Pro prioritises slim profile and clarity.

Is the Dropguard 2S MagSafe compatible?

Yes. The Dropguard 2S includes a built-in MagSafe alignment ring and supports full-speed MagSafe and Qi2 wireless charging. The dual-layer construction does not reduce magnetic attachment strength.

What does the dual-layer design of the Dropguard 2S mean?

The Dropguard 2S uses a hard polycarbonate outer shell over a flexible TPU inner layer. The outer shell distributes impact force across a wider surface area, while the inner layer absorbs the remaining energy before it reaches the phone. This two-stage system is what enables the TÜV and SGS 20ft certified protection.
